Guild Member, Virginia Bradley awarded grant, story on first link opposite

History: The establishment of the Guild of Berkshire Artists (formerly the Richmond/West Stockbridge Artists Guild, Inc.), a Massachusetts Non-Profit Corporation, grew out of the successful, inaugural Fine Art Show held in September 2014 at The Richmond Congregational Church. That show drew more than 30 exhibiting artists from the area and hundreds of attendees. Since that fall, artists have been gathering to enjoy creating art outdoors (en plein air) and live model art making sessions.

Mission: Educate members and the public about art and contribute to the quality of life in the Berkshires. Encourage, support and promote vibrant inspired visual artists leading seminars, critiques, Creating Art Outdoors, Meet the Artist, live models, exhibits and demonstrations in the Berkshire county area.

Membership: Members work in a wide range of visual media: paintings, sculpture, photography, film, pottery, jewelry, textiles, wood, stained glass, mixed-media, multimedia and other art forms approved by the membership. We encourage use of free/low cost tools in our organization and promote sustainability. We do not discriminate against protected classes.
